I've been quite dead as you all know due to my studies but i get so happy when i return back to see that there are still people emailing me and leaving comments! I won't be able to reply to you all until Sunday, which i will also update the list for giveaway numbers, therefore please be patient with me ^^~

My Lovely crappy dinner at Milestones

Yesterday night i had dinner with Evan downtown. It was delightful as usual. It sucked. I've been to Milestones, a restuarant chain, a few times before. The food and service is generally satisfactory, a place to have steak and a bellini while watching some hockey in the background. Or so i thought it was.

Evan just got off from work and I had just finished my class. Okay, i guess it's wrong on my part that i brought my school bag with me to the restaurant. All in all....i don't think i'm going back there again.

After we were seated, the server threw our menus on the table and left immediately. When we were ready to order, we raised our hand only to be told by other staff that our server was going to come soon and take our order. 10 minutes later... she finally came back to us and asked for our orders. When the appetizers came, Evan asked our server for a few napkins. The server was confused. She said, "Here is your napkin." She reaches over to Evan's dinner cloth and unravels it with her hands. "Use this". Evan asked again, "Sorry, i meant the paper napkins." The server replied with "Oh, you mean PAPER napkins." She grabbed some from her pocket and THREW it on the table. I'm not overreacting, she THREW them. She made no effort to see if we were satisfied with our meals and did not come back to our table until we asked for the bill. Milestone's customers All customers know that the servers who work at fine dining restaurants are trained to check up on you at least once while you're eating and make sure that you do not wait too long for service. But i'm usually not too concerned with this... 

It was when we paid that got me real disappointed.

She made conversation with us.

"Oh, hah, is that your backpack? Looks nice. Looks heavy. Did you carry that around today?"

Server: What are you guys doing later tonight?

Evan: Oh... maybe some shopping.

Server: Well, you should make sure there's a lot of money in your debit card for shopping. You need money you know. Especially since you guys are downtown. You need money to go shopping. Make sure you have enough to buy your girlfriend something you know.

Then she snickered/laughed at us.

We didn't make any comments. We were quite shocked...we just quietly pretended like it was nothing. It felt....insulting. I mean, besides my school bag, we dressed properly and we came in with good intentions. I think she, herself, was probably experiencing a bad day and decided to take it out on customers. It was disappointing. Customer service = >:( Don't you just hate it when people ruin it for you?

REVLON-PEACHY is my new summer colour. it's a very bright and bold shade.

If you know me well, i am one of those brand loyal customers (since when did i start incorporating business terms? D8) of OPI nail polish. This can be seen as a little... stuck up i know. But if you think about those who collect Chanel bags for a living (so jelly!)...well collecting nail polish all of the sudden seems acceptable 8D I'm sure everybody has a hobby ....I collect rocks and OPI nail polish 8) yup. I guess i just fell for their unique no-chip polish. It doesn't chip... it "peels" (well, for me anyways). But until recently, i've decided to expand my collecting habits and open my mind towards other brands. My OPI collecting days were intense...
If i'm feeling super happy....i buy OPI.
If i'm feeling sad.... i buy OPI.
If i'm feeling stressed...i buy OPI.
If i'm drunk...i still use OPI.

It was to this point when my coworker pointed out to me that i was on the extreme...
"Hey Jennifer! new nail colour? Looks good~"
"Hey Anna, yeah this is Valentine by Revlon<3"
"D8"
"What? What's wrong Anna?"
"Nooooo I can't buy it! I'm forbidden. It's a sin!! D8"
"=____=; ... you just crazy"

It wasn't until recently that i tried other brands and well.. i'm in LOVE! REVLON nail colours are absolutely amazing...and for almost half the price of OPI. The staying power is about the same..if not, then even longer.The colours show up very well and i'm especially loving all the matte shades!!

The long awaited action packed mystery series,,, CITY HUNTER just aired their first couple of episodes in Korea. I saw trailers of this series quite awhile ago and have anticipated its release ever since. Lee Min Ho looks so hot in this series! Major change from when he starred in Boys Before Flowers with ...poodle-like hair :) He looks so dark and mysterious in this series, i have high hopes for this one; don't let me down SBS! <3

The story takes place in Seoul, 2011. Lee Yoon Sung is a talented MIT-graduate who's working on the international communications team at the Blue House. He encounters dangerous situations while solving a variety of cases, both big and small, for people who need his help, and eventually becomes a "city hunter." - DramaWiki

So i finally got myself a YouTube account~ Please watch me, ImJellyAnna, for future randomness :3

My gyaru inspired day-to-day makeup. I used the built-in web camera on my mac instead of using an actual camera due to difficulty of focusing. Quality is not as good as camera but it is a lot smoother in transition for focusing...plus super easy to do! I realized i never touched that function on my laptop until Evan pointed it out the other day. I guess my mind was set on HD videos ==;; but it's a lot more work. Maybe when i have an excess amount of time i'll spend the day working out the kinks to my camera xD;

No more waiting, here it is! Hope i didn't disappoint...

I'm baaaacckkKK ..... momentarily anyways ^^; I apologize for the lack of updates... and i apologize for my future lack of updates during the time of studies. It's funny how i even hear from my friends asking why i haven't updated @__@; and i'm like, dang! You read? You stalker! wahahaha jkjk. I'm currently taking three courses during the summer, juggling work and driving lessons ^^;; My schedule is a mess and i know i haven't updated in over two weeks "orz... i probably won't be able to blog as often until the end of June QAQ... oh school. I've never taken summer courses during university but i'm planning on finishing my degree earlier so i can squeeze in some travel time nearing the end :)

I just want to take the time to thank all you readers for everything. My blog reached 100+ followers last month but i missed the chance to mention it. By the time i got around to checking back on my blog and emails (busy with school) i realized i reached 200+ followers. I'm amazed, honestly. I started blogging in mid march and it's  been two months since. I'm quite overwhelmed, in a good way, by the amout of emails and feedback i recieved from you guys. {SKIN CARE PART 2/2}

Homemade Egg Mask

What you need to do: Crack open an egg and take out the yolk; you'll be using the egg white. Mix in thoroughly a little bit of sugar (1/2 teaspoon). That's it. Apply to fresh face for approximately  15 minutes. You will see that your face looks a bit funny.. the egg mask is cracking... it is working. Gently wash it off. You should feel your skin has become a bit smoother^^ In the long run, my mom says it helps smooth skin texture, improve elasticity and moisture as well as whiten skin.

I just do this whenever i have time (about twice a month?) But my mom does it more often and her skin is super smooth QAQ; Try it out if you have time, it's inexpensive and simple....and can easily have enough product for 2-3 people. I'm sure there are many home remedies out there similiar to ths one^^

Massage your FACE!

Sounds funny right? Many people actually neglect this. Massaging your face with a couple drops of quality serum (i use Decleor's Aromessence) from time to time helps to firm and sculpt the face. This is well known and popularly practised by countries in Asia. A 5 minute sharpening of the nose bridge, V-line and forehead will take you a long way :D

Decleor has a variety of face serums and are said to offer quality facial massage products. I've bought their serum that they recommended for my skin type and i've used it for about a year and half now and love it! It's pretty pricey for one small bottle but it takes you a long way. You really only need two drops each time and it does its job well. However, you can always opt for something closer to your price range since this is just an idea of what i use ^^

That's pretty much all i have to say about skin care. You don't really need a lot of products...you just need patience for the few that you use to work ^^

I've been watching this Korean drama like there's no tomorrow! It's currently airing and really popular so i'm sure most of you already are in tune with this hahaha and if not... GO WATCH IT NOW! The story is brilliant. At first i thought this was just another one of those rich girl, poor girl dramas or something along the lines of it. But really... it is so much more and not anything like i imagined. The story is well thought out and everything happens for a reason... it's just so much love! One thing happens and you think.. oh snap and then bam another thing happens. Too exciting for words. QuQ not to mention... I LOVE Jo Hyun Jae's character in the show QuQ just...so right. LOL♥  i don't make any sense. And Jung Il Woo is hot!!! LOVE HIM ♥ He definately has that smexy smile XuX so...talll....and...handsome...and...killer smile.. D8 Just 'daaaayum' you know? xD ♥♥♥♥♥♥

A lot of you were surprised at the amount of brand stores available in Hong Kong and where they are located. It's quite difficult to explain the location of every store i went to @__@; I hope you guys can make do with Google for the specific locations. Many of the big brand stores are located in  尖沙咀 ^^ I'll give a list of some popular brands though ^^ That being said, Hong Kong is not soley about brand. Or at least in my opinion. Anywhere and everywhere you can find something interesting, just do a little digging ^^

....and many many more. These are brands that have their own store. However there are tons of shops that sell a collection of brands. I visited one that sold Ank Rouge, W♥C, Cecil McBee, Titty&Co., Dazzlin and Lip Service all in one place. There are many high-end stores such as LV and Gucci...but are different compared to the ones in Canada... the stores are much larger in Hong Kong. The bigger the brand...the bigger the store. I hope this answered most of your questions regarding HK Brand & location ^^;;

I believe it is called "Super/Supa" top level in one of the malls in 尖沙咀. Another is also in that area as well^^ I don't know the exact address but it's pretty easy to find once you are in the mall.

Well, to hold up hime hair, you need a lot of back-combing and good hairspray. Sectioning is important. But practice is the essential part ~.

Wahaha i know right? Spreading the love for HK! I think the flight was roughly $1400? It varies a lot depending on what time of the year you go. I stayed at my relatives house for a few days and hotel for a few days. I set aside another $800 for shopping but spent $500?...

I wanted to know, do you shop online often? & if so, could you recommend any stores that ship world-wide? Hope that's okay! ^o^;

You can actually survive in HK without knowing Chinese as many people (i would say of the younger generations) speak English. I speak Cantonese...my Mandarin kind of sucks hahaha xD I am thinking about going to Taiwan too sometime...maybe at the end of the year??

See above for brands. There are several cosmetic stores in HK, almost one every few blocks in the populated areas and tons in malls. I recommend SaSa, Colormix, Watsons, Mannings etc.

My hobby back in middle school, oddly enough, was studying dog breeds! I would check out all the dog breed books from the library and guess which breed they are, personality, origin, everything! By 8th grade the librarians knew I liked dogs so much they gave me the biggest book they had for free xD Vuitton is SO cute, like a little prince... I'm sure he's spoiled rotten <3

Yeahh it is quite fun actually. You do get to eat everything since you need to know the product xD wahahaha i've worked there for almost 4 years now, my co-workers are super friendly. We make candy apples! I'll be sure to post some photos up of the ones we make some time haha.
