I'm thinking about dying my hair back to ash brown. Constant root touch ups are more expensive than when i had brown hair... plus everyone considers my hair golden blonde? D: I stick out way too much haha.. Time for a change soon...

Some of you may or may not have noticed but i have also stopped contouring (even a few posts ago, though i didn't mention it). I took into consideration that less is more. My boyfriend hinted that it was too much haha, which while looking back i have to agree xD;; So i guess my style of makeup has once again changed.

{Story of my Life.}

The other day at work during the late afternoon i was cutting some chocolates to sample while conversing with my co-worker friends Jen, Julia and Sten. The store was surprisingly empty (this rarely ever happens).

I turned to Julia and saw her jaw drop.

I turned.

My jaw dropped.

I almost died.

A man rode his bike into the store.

And hopped off.

I swear i saw it in slow-motion.

He said,

"Hey~ Do you guys have some chocolate covered raisens?"

Apparently Sten told me afterwards that he also met Matt Damon TWICE while mountain biking a few days ago. (pshh apparently he's going every week! xD)

They went to a bar together and drank along with some other friends.

I bought the Sally Hansen one today since i never tried any of their products from their 'Complete Salon Manicure' line. It was very sheer though so it took me 3 layers of product to achieve a 'gel-like' look Dx

During my study break haha... i decided to  procrastinate and play with nail art. I dosed a couple of nails with the essie one and then added some nail decoden. Forgive me, my hands are quite dry though since i usually wash a lot of dishes at work haha ^^;; 5 minute manicure haha~~ I wish i could go out and get my nails done at a real salon for 3d nail art but the prices are just ridiculous in Vancouver. Good but simple gel 3D Nails cost a minimun of $90 i swear QAQ *crycry  "orz

Hello, hello, helloween~

I've been quite stressed lately.. due to school and well... life in general haha. I'm getting a headache just by looking at my to-do list @A@;; On the lighter side... i've decided to be little red riding hood for halloween bwahahaha!!! Let's see how this turns out ;)

This came in the mail earlier...

A few weeks ago, i recieved an email from the lovely people of Shoppingholics. It is a company selling mainly contact lenses and various Japanese makeup products. They kindly asked me to do a review on their contact lenses. I ended up choosing "Geo Xtra WT-B22" in blue since the design was nice but there were not many reviews on them. The lenses arrived in roughly 2 weeks^^ The packaging is very cute and they also sent me some gifts along with a thank you card. I recieved a magic hair sheet in black and Barrel style contact lens washer! (which i both find pretty handy)~

Comments: Even though i chose these lenses, to be honest i was soooooo scared to put them on since they were 15.0mm! i've never had contacts this large haha (though i know many people prefer the larger ones). However,, after putting them on, i was very much relieved of my worries. They were not scary big at all~ The best part, they felt very very comfortable. The design was nice and the blue colour showed up  well. I wore them to a parties and to work a couple of times for longer hours, very satisfied ^^ ♥♥

Roughly a month ago, my friend and i decided to order tea from abroad. =A= Oh dear, i feel so old suddently haha. I love to drink tea ... especially while eating biscuits. It makes me very calm and satisfied. The ones i ordered smell AMAZING. I couldn't resist getting smokey earl grey and honey bush! (love!) i haven't tried the strawberry one yet but i'm now afriad it may taste a bit artificial. Greg ordered peach green tea and he said it had that funny artificial 'fuzzy peach' taste to it D: I've always bought locally so it didn't occur to me that 3 small tins would cost $50 haha.. kind of expensive. At least i'm not as crazy as Greg, he spent $120+ on tea...xD

We've been thinking about investing in a good protable kettle to bring to school, so nerd right? 8) Well.. this is actually how i am in real life. If i could choose, i'd rather spend my time in a coffee shop and watch dramas on my laptop. To me, that is my peace.

But of course... life ain't that simple.

Now this is the part where i become granny Anna with my perspective in life haha..

I recieved an interesting email of concern from one of you guys. This is a lot different from the usual ones i get... this one concerned life in general.

To summerize the reader's message/question,

"Do you ever get haters? If so, how do you deal with them? I'm starting to blog as well but i've already gotten haters and it's getting on my nerves."

 After a few replies back and forth, i decided to ask the reader to allow me to present this topic to you guys.

This is my personal opinion so of course not everyone may agree with me. I think if you're in this problem, you really have to think positively about the situation. If you've gotten a negative comment, think about it more deeply. If this just nonesense? Or is it actual constructive critisim. You must be able to differentiate between the two...i think that is the most important.

To be honest, for someone to put themselves out there online... you kind of have to expect criticism or hate. Sometimes people get afraid of comments. You may get criticisized for something but try to learn from it instead of thinking it is bad. It may just be a good piece of advice ;) However... there may be people who dislike what you have to say or do 'just because'. Maybe you recieved a negative comment for no reason. But if you think about it... as long as there is just one person who is is interested in what you have to say...isn't that enough? As long as there's someone out that respects you for doing what you do then it's worth it, that's what i believe.

Thank you for that one reader for bringing up the topic and i hope some of you can take what i have said with you. I'm very grateful for the emails i get.

This is a light jacket as the material is quite thin. It has the safari pale green look ~The bottom of the jacket is adjustable so you can also stretch to your size^^ I usually wear it when the days are not as cold haha (Vancouver weather) Though i do not have many clothes that compliment with the jacket so i may have to stock up on some more pale & neutral colours lol~

Super Soft Knit Top in Blue

As i've mentioned before in a previous post, i am in love with this jumper! It has easily become one of my favorite ready-to-wear's for fall. Very simple but still stylish :D The fabric is a soft knit. Since it is a onesize it is very easy to wear and extremely comfortable^^ I've worn and washed it several times already and have yet to experiance lint or any shrinking :) I had many compliments on this one. Highly recommended, a Mexyshop favorite!!
