[32] // 1 YR ANI winners + Geo Cafe Mimi WMM-600 Review + LDR + Q & A + Randoms

 Hello SUMMER!

Back, and in boho style~

I've been really busy with school, work, and relationships that i've been caught up in quite the storm for the past month. I apologize for the delay in posting and announcing the one year anniversary draw winners.

Despite my lack of activity i was very surprised by the amount of new emails i kept receiving. It made me really happy that people still cared whether i blogged or not and it really made the difference. Honestly speaking, i felt like i was beginning to lack motivation to blog as there was just so much going on in my life that the stress became more than i can bare. The situation worsened when my computer hit a bug a couple weeks ago and i had to get it tuned up. It made me sad that i was unable to keep up with email replies but just recently i have finally felt that i can resume back to normal random blogging: ) I promise many more photos and randoms to come haha~

Looks like i won't be going to Korea this summer, instead i will be delaying my vacation until december. I will be going to Hong Kong & Japan with my Bf ^^ ~~

I'm also very excited to work with Lovelysally, an Italian fashion brand based in Milan, who will be sending me a couple of garments for review and Lookbook style shots. I am very honored for this opportunity^^

[Geo Cafe Mimi WMM-600]

A couple of weeks ago, the generous Flora from www.geocolouredlenses.com sent me two pairs of Geo lenses to review^^ I chose Geo Cafe Mimi WMM-600 and Geo Xtra WT-A07~ Each pair of lenses came with a case packaged in a neat little box.

Review: I absolutely LOVE these lenses. No sugar coating involved~ These are my new favourite pair; they give a really good enlarging effect yet are very natural. I'm not really a fan of crazy designs so this turned out great for me. They blend in with my natural eye colour completely ^^ I always find Geo lenses give the most comfort; i can easily wear them for 4-5 hours without any irritation. I am wearing them in the first two photos above as well. Love love love it!

[ LDRelationships ]
...
and relationships in general

So after 3+ months of long distance...

my boyfriend is back.

He decided to move back and switch schools, so sweet *sigh QuQ

While we were apart it was pretty tough since we never really had time together before we separated. Our relationship...existed over the phone. It was incredibly hard during the last month of exams..we were both stressed out. For our 3rd month apart, he mailed me this...

He bought a glass heart jar, cut and folded paper stars from scratch... and took vitamin pills which he emptied to write little notes inside. He got really sad when i told him they sold something similar (already pre-made) at a local korean stationary store. But i was really really happy he made it from scratch. The notes were really sweet too.

I'll still remember the night he arrived at the airport... we hadn't seen each other for so long and when we met again it was like we were strangers... in a good way.

He was so shy.

ahahaha x)

For our 4th month anniversary, our first month-versary together, he surprised me with 9 roses representing the day we met. So sweet :)

We are doing very well now :) At least for now, since he hasn't touched Diablo III yet LOL. I have a feeling this will be one awesome summer!

[ Q & A ]

Hello Anna!
I am new to your blog but have quickly become a huge fan of yours, also from the Vancouver area (*^з^●)
So I've noticed you often post that you are busy with work! Which leads me here, because I'd really love to know what kind of job you do?
I totally understand if you don't want to give out that information, to avoid any stalkers haha! But it's just that as a fashionista, I can never seem to find any jobs suitable besides being a popteen model in japan or something along those lines..
It's so hard to find a job out there that allows me to keep my long gel nails, blonde bright hair, gyaru makeup, and style ): I mean the makeup/clothing I can adjust when I go to work, but the hair/nails I really can't..
How do you do it? Any advice? @@ Sorry for the trouble!!

- Miiaki

I work part time in the retail industry so there are no real strict guidelines for hair/make-up ^^ Though to be honest, i do not really wear much when i go to work or school anyways. It would be a bit tiresome to put on full makeup everyday so i just put on some concealer and eyeliner haha. It's when i go out shopping/eating/events that i like to go all out...i think that's what makes it more special for me. I am inspired by gal/gyaru trends and it is very fun to incorporate it into my style. If you are looking for a job that allows you to do all of that then perhaps try applying to a retail company that fits closer to your style?

Hello~ I'm So Jelly!

This is actually my first time emailing a blogger in sort of a fan-like email ;u; Anyways, I go by the name Brittney online (Brittney is my real first name) and I manage four blogs on Blogger. I came across your blog via. another blogger that listed you under her favorite bloggers. When I visited your blog, I really liked it! I'm currently 23-years old and I'm a fan of the gyaru fashion and just Japan's fashion in general. However, I feel so ashamed that I'm so late in the fashion game, such as makeup and so on. I've been following a few fashion blogs for a while, and it has inspired me to get into fashion more, because there are a lot of styles and various types of make-up that I would like to use. By the way, I must say that I really like your sense of style in clothes! I've decided to make a Asian inspired blog for fashion among other things. But, I noticed on your blog profile that you like to make new friends and so do I, so I hope we can become friends! ^^

Thank you for reading my message, I hope to hear from you soon. Have a nice day!

-Brittney

I love emails like this. It's what gives me the drive to continue blogging QuQ <3

Hello, I've been reading your blog and I always like your hair :D
I'm going to cut my hair soon so I was wondering if you have any tip to get your hairstyle.
If it is alright if you take picture of your hair front, both sides, back?
Also if you have any advice how I should ask the salon people in how to cut it please do tell :D

I really like your fashion on lookbook!
Also your makeup is nice! I love popteen, gyaru, ullzhang, etc (^.^)
You're one of the people who inspire me :)
I hope you don't ever stop blogging because I really like reading your blog.

I'm 14 year old girl who inspire to grow up pretty like you.

Thanks for blogging <3

-Miyuki Sakura

Thank you so much QwQ my hairstyle changes frequently, if you are asking about my current hairstyle then i would be more than happy to include it in an upcoming post. The best way to get the right cut is to show photos of the hairstyle you would like to your hairdresser / hair stylist. Include all the information that you can (length of cut, colour, thinning or volumizing etc.). You can always ask for changes as the stylist is still working so please do not be afraid to speak up. Thank you & please look forward to the next posts~~

Hey Anna!

I just have a question that I hope you can answer ^^
You recently changed to your own domain...
I was wondering if you got it with blogger?
And what are the benefits of having your own domain??

Thanks!

-Tracy L.

Yes, i did purchase through blogger ^^ It was a bit troublesome but after a few emails with customer service and some own personal tweaking it worked out. The real benefit of having your own domain is that it looks a tad more professional and i feel also that it would be easier for people / visitors to find you and remember your site address.

Hey my name is Unni and I found your blog searching for shopping in Hong Kong. :)
So the thing is I'm going to Hong Kong to meet my boyfriend's family in two weeks or so and if you got any special places to go?
I'm huge make up fan and an eyelash druggie >0< so any make up place is good and also some interesting shops if you know any (or good malls)
sorry for confusing mail, also loved your blog and realised during this mail I've been subscribed to you for awhile hahaha

thanks on beforehand <3

-Unni A.

Tsim Sha Tsui! Take a walk around the area and you will be MORE than satisfied ;) Shall i say more?

Thank you for all your emails and forgive me for responding ever so slowly. I hope you guys can be patient with me as these are just a few of the many emails i receive... and i really hope i have more time to answer you guys. I will try my best to reply faster x3

Thanks again!
